deedoesitbetter:On June 11th 1963, Thích Quảng Đức, a Vietnamese Buddhist monk, sat down in the middle of a busy intersection in Saigon, covered himself in gasoline and He then ignited a match, and set himself on fire. Đức burned to death in a matter of minutes, and he was immortalized in a famous photograph taken by a reporter who was in Vietnam in order to photograph the war. All those who saw this spectacle were taken by the fact that Duc did not make a sound while burning to death. Đức was protesting President Ngô Đình Diệm’s administration for oppressing the Buddhist religion.

To me, its about being comfortable. Having that mindset where you can look at her when she’s in that basketball shorts-bedhair-large shirt type mood and still think she’s beautiful. Its about waking up next to her knowing how bad she may have morning breath, but you try to steal a kiss every moment you can. Its about being able to push her buttons for shits and giggles and when she is through hitting you and punching you, she can still manage to let out a smile and a laugh. Its those moments in my car, whereas im driving and you’re staring out the window with your left hand holding my right, you let me put my thumb on top of yours. And if shes sneaky enough, she’ll slip hers out from underneath, and place it on top of mines. “1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9…10. I win the thumb war.” I want to be happy with you. Make mistakes with you. Go through all the ups and downs with you. Cause i’ve come to learn that i find out a little more about myself when with you. And we may not be able to see each other as much as we would like, but when we are together i get the feeling where i know i am going to have a good day.

The Eeveelution of Shots (Pokemon shot set)
Ingredients:
Eevee:
1/4 simple syrup
1 oz Bourbon whiskey
dash Angostura bitters
dash Orange bitters
Vaporeon:
3/4 oz Blue Curacao
3/4 oz Vodka
Jolteon:
3/4 oz Limoncello
3/4 citrus Vodka
1/4 tsp sugar to dissolve
Flareon:
1 oz Fire Water (Hot Cinnamon Schnapps)
1/2 oz Bacardi 151
1 pinch cinnamon
Espeon:
1 oz Hpnotiq
1/2 oz Gin
1/8 oz Grenadine
Umbreon:
1 oz. Kraken Black Spiced Rum
1/2 oz Coconut rum
Leafeon:
1 oz. Midori
1/2 oz. Light rum
1/3 oz. Gin
Glaceon:
3/4 oz Irish cream
3/4 oz Ice 101 peppermint schnappsDirections: All of but two of the shots (Flareon and Glaceon) can be made simply by mixing the ingredients in a shot glass. For Flareon, layer the Bacardi 151 on top and light on fire. Sprinkle the pinch of cinnamon over the fire for a cool effect. For Glaceon, layer the Ice 101 peppermint schnapps on top of the Irish cream.
